SUPPORT THE RETURN OF CUTTING TO THE CALIFORNIA RODEO SALINAS
Please stop by the Salinas event center on Thursday July 17th for the 6:00 pm evening performance. Shout for your favorite as five finalists compete for the coveted Salinas buckle and $5,000 in added money. Read more: https://www.carodeo.com/events/2025/debbie-pedrazzi-memorial-cutting
JULY 12th ENTRY FEES
GCI is reluctantly increasing fees for the July 12th season finale by $40 per class entry, with the exception of the youth class which remains unchanged at $55.
Market conditions in the cattle industry, combined with transportation and facility price increases, have resulted in a significant cost escalation while economic uncertainties continue to negatively impact the club’s corporate donations. (If you’re able to help, please do!)
The board appreciates your understanding and will adjust pricing to offer the best possible value for the 2025/6 season.
HELP WANTED!
GCI’s long-serving treasurer, Jill Evart, retires at the end of this show season. This critical position must be filled to continue operations. If you have basic bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks a plus) and are willing to help the club, Jill will train and support you through a transition period. Please respond to gabilancuttersinc@gmail.com Thanks for all your support Jill!
